When it comes to building muscle cars, Ford sure knows its way down the right road. The automobile manufacturer will soon pull the veil off its shiny new Shelby GT500 at the Los Angeles Auto Show and will have nestled in its belly the world’s most powerful production V8 engine. With 650 horses under its hood and 600 lb-ft of torque, the car has a top speed of over 200 mph (320 km/h). Using a TVS 2300 supercharger and a load of tweaks, Ford has managed to turn this Shelby into a ride that could pretty much keep up with most of the Lamborghinis, Ferraris and McLarens out there!
