Lego bricks have always caught the fancy of children and adults alike. Now, it seems like the guys at Ford are hooked on to these building bricks too! 22 designers put in 2,500 hours of hard work and play time to summon up this Ford Explorer. Life-size and seriously heavy, weighing in at about 2,654 pounds, the model uses about 380,000 individual bricks in all! The Lego Explorer was first shown off at the Chicago assembly plant and then shipped off to Legoland theme park near Orlando, Florida. To be packed in a trailer with transparent sides allowing motorists along the route to grab a look, the Lego Explorer will be used as a welcome-exhibit at the Ford Driving School for kids!
