Mag wheels, spinners, LED spinners are so 2006 the latest craze is glass wheels. They look simply amazing on any car and are priced at $ 5000 per wheel, so it definitely makes sense to put them on a $100,000 car. The only problem I can see with these beauties is cleaning them, obviously they are not made from glass but some toughened plastic.

These rims must be impact resistant and more importantly to me highly heat resistant. Can you give any indication of the material that is use in these rims? We are trying to find suitable materials to replace glass in windows that may be affected by bush fires.
the wheels are made of a two inch thick polycarbonate. available in 20,22, and 24 inch sizes
What about cooling properties for the brakes??

these rims are hot…however, i came up with the idea in 2004 and im sure my rims would have looked better if i had the money to create them…aint life funny..anywho…i do know of a process for making a different type pf glass wheel thet looks wayyy better and i think i should pursue the venture…but i need help getting started..
The brake cooling will obviously be effected but under normal usage they would be fine other than that ceramic brakes could be used ..
