Given the recent arrival of 55-inch OLED TVs at CES, the sound of 22-inch TV set might not catch your attention at first. But what if I told you that you can actually see through it? Haier first surprised us with its 40-inch wide Evoke 3D Soundbar and is now showing off its organic transparent OLED TV at CES as part of its “Future Technologies” portfolio of products. This doesn’t exactly look like a television meant for your living room. Specs here include a resolution of 1680 x 1050 with 8-bit color and an external backlight to render images in conventional sense.

Haier wants to put this one in stores as front display or wall installations elsewhere. A word on the street tells us the company is also prepping up a 46-inch version of the same. No word on pricing and availability as yet.
