Hitachi has announced 11 new LCD and Plasma HDMI TV’s for mid-August. The LCD’s range from 26 to 37″ and the Plasma screens will have sizes between 37 and 55″. Prices will vary between 2250 and 6750 EUR. the main novelty for these screens is the ALIS technology (Mega-pixel ALIS panel = ultra-high-density and high luminance) which gives, according to the manufacturer) a brighter image than the current models on the market. Moreover, 5 of these 11 models will come witgh a 160 Gb HDD video recorder.
