Who says 3D movies can only be a James Cameron forte? The launch of Sony’s new 3D-capable Handycam, has just opened doors a multi-dimensional world for budding auteurs all over the world. The new, 3D-capable Handycam also provides razor-sharp 1080p HD for those not quite ready to hop aboard the 3-D TV bandwagon. The 3D Handycam boasts of a “Double Full HD,” with its integrated dual lens that contain all the key components for operation: A Sony G lens, CMOS image sensor, and image processor. Of course a 3D TV is essential to be able to enjoy your 3D-masterpiece, but you can also view 3-D playback sans glasses on the Handycam’s 3.5-inch LCD display.
The HDR-TD10 also boasts a 64GB flash memory, 10-inch optical zoom for those extreme close-ups, 5.1-channel surround sound, and a 7-megapixel still-image capability. The handycam will hit the store shelves in April and is expected to set you back by $1,500. Not a heavy price to pay when you take home your debut-directorial Oscar!
