Honda makes using your iPhone while driving easier

Using your iPhone while driving around in your Honda will get a lot easier than it already is, thanks to the automaker’s efforts to integrate a new bridge between the smartphone and the car. The system will use the iPhone Siri’s “Eyes Free” and will be added in some Honda and Acura models including the 2013 Honda Accord, the 2013 Acura RDX and ILX. The feature will allow drivers to use Apple’s iOS voice assistant without needing to peek into their smartphones.

Using Bluetooth to connect through Honda’s HandsFreeLink setup, this feature uses Apple’s brainchild, Siri, to the fullest and makes interactivity with smartphones while driving easy. For now, there has been no news in regards to Honda’s plans to integrate the system in the rest of its cars.
