HTC J Butterfly offers 5 inches of 1080p goodness

It’s amazing trivia to know that there hasn’t been a smartphone that’s ever shown off its 1080p HD capabilities in 5 inches. That makes the HTC J Butterfly the first phone to do so. KDDI unveiled the phone that was also known as HTL21, with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a 5-inch screen that’s a 440 ppi full HD Super LCD 3 panel to impress, 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 8-megapixel rear camera that easily shoots 1080p videos, 2.1 front-facing camera for video calls, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage space with microSDHC expansion, Wi-Fi, LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, and to protect it all, the Butterfly is waterproof as well.
The HTC J Butterfly doesn’t really come in gaudy butterfly colors. But you can get hold of it in white, red and black. It is expected to arrive by early December.
