Huawei unveils its first Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Ascend W1


The Consumer Electronics Show, the holy land of technology and innovation, has given us a peek at Huawei’s latest brainchild, the Huawei Ascend W1. The first Windows Phone 8 smartphone by the company, this 10.15 mm thin device packs a 4-inch IPS LCD 480 x 800 touchscreen with OGS Technology! Inside, the Huawei Ascend W1 includes a Qualcomm Snapdrago S4 MSM8230 dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and Adreno 305 GPU.


And if all of that isn’t impressive enough, get a hold of this! The new smartphone also includes a 1950 mAh battery with the longest-in-class standby time.
