Icelandic pop sensation Kali from the Street Lord group has come up with a pretty innovative way to connect with her fans. Known for her bizarre costumes, just like Lady Gaga, Kali had designer Thorunn Arnadottir come up with this astounding dress, a mix of technology, wacky fashion and music. This dress has a beaded QR code and was christened the “QR U?” Inspired by African bead work, the dress uses Swarovski crystals for the QR code design which can actually be detected by devices capable of scanning QR codes. And using your smartphone to detect this QR code will guide you back to a website with information on Street Lord, videos and a whole lot more. Well Lady Gaga, seems like you could work with adding technology to your costumes too, instead of shredded meat and the likes.
