Renowned Swedish home-furniture and appliance manufacturer IKEA recently announced the launch of an all-in-one HDTV called the Uppleva that works as a complete entertainment console. Boasting easy assembly, good sound, Smart TV applications and a record-to-USB-drive feature, the Uppleva, however, seems to have disappointed those who first set their hands on it. As per reviews, this one’s back levels aren’t as satisfying as those found on budget LG and Samsung HDTVs. The Uppleva also suffers poor contrast levels, image noise, a dreadful user interface, and no Adobe Flash support. Though beautiful to look at and aesthetically pleasing when switched off, reviews warn potential buyers to steer clear of the Uppleva!
