inCore Earbud allows easy hearing in noisy places

earphones.jpgTechnology is really going places these days. Start-up company Nap Enterprise Co. is geared up to launch a very fundoo new earbud. Apparently the microphone that is built into the earbud speaker, picks up the spoken voice not from the mouth, but from inside the ear. This results in clear hearing as well as talking. A special ‘sound-damping pad’ blocks peripheral sounds from the microphone enabling you to hear clearly through the speaker. Five layers of silicone rubber shaped like a flute allows the sound to travel in air between the layers, in the pad. This results in reduced ambient noise by 30 decibels.

Promising to allow “conversations to be carried on in even very noisy settings like concert halls and construction sites”, the inCore earbud will debut in Japan next month.
