Even before the iPad 2 rumors have made its rounds, rumor mills are talking about the iPad 3, expected to unveil itself this fall. We are not sure how this fits with Apple’s traditional business model, but according to our friends at TechCrunch and Daring Fireball, both have information that relates to an iPad 3 launch. According to Daring Fireball; “If my theory is right, they’re not only going to be months behind the iPad 2, but if they slip until late summer, they might bump up against the release of the iPad 3. And not only did they announce this with a distant ship date, they did it with no word on pricing.” While TechCrunch reported, “We’ve now heard that this “fall surprise” is related to this would-be iPad 3.”

Jumping the gun here? Maybe, but coming from the house of Apple, nothing is impossible. Watch this space for more!
