iRiver’s next generation trendy portable media players has been unveiled. Specifically for the Korean market, the U100 will sport a 3.1-inch, 320×480 touch screen, and built-in memory from 4GB, 8GB and 16GB sizes. It comes in a multitude of colors, including black, green, pink, black with pink accents and black with green accents. Additionally, the small player will also get Wi-Fi, a microSDHC slot, an FM Tuner as well as boast the company’s characteristically broad file format support for audio, photos and video. It supports playing 720p video, though the display limits the actual output.

Keeping up with its array of impressive features is its battery life, said to provide up to 50 hours of audio playback and as much as 11 hours when playing videos. The pricing or release dates have not been announced yet.
