Kinect for Windows to arrive on Feb 1 for $249


It has been finally announced that Kinect for Windows is all geared to arrive on shelves February 1 this year. the new hardware will be made available in 12 countries including USA and China for a price of around US$250. It will be initially available in limited quantities and later this year, Microsoft intends to offer it for a special academic price of $149 only for Qualified Educational Users alone. Besides the Windows 7 and Windows 8 developer preview, Kinect for Windows is also said to work with Windows embedded-based devices.
