LaCie has long been in the business of creating trendy storage devices and this time too it has managed leave us enamored with its latest partnership with Porsche Design House. Both have come together to dish out two external storage devices- the Porsche Design Mobile (P’9220) and Porsche Design Desktop (P’9230) hard drives. Under its sleek metal hood, the drive sup[ports both USB 2.0 and 3.0. it also comes with the vendor’s are suite, including password protection, automatic backup, 40 percent power saving capability, and secure online storage with Wuala.

The Porsche Design Mobile P’9220 will come in choice of two capacities i.e. the 500GB model and a 1TB model. Its external chassis has the chic metal aluminum finish and sharp corners so might want to be a little careful with this one. It has already hit retail shelves for a price of $105. With the Porsche brand stamp here, the price certainly comes as surprise but we are definitely not complaining.
