You might have heard rumours on a “Facebook Phone” doing rounds, but all of it was too bland and baseless to get us intrigued, until now! Evleaks, which has given us many authentic leaked photos of unreleased devices, posted a photo on its twitter of “HTC First” which is rumoured to be the Facebook Phone. The image was leaked 2 days before the Facebook’s official event. The handset is rumoured to have a tweaked Android OS which is heavily integrated with FB, the “Facebook Home” software will replace several stock Android apps with new apps tied to Facebook’s own services.


Don’t expect the hardware specs to be impressive, it’s expected to be a midrange device with 4.3” 720p display, a dual-core Snapdragon processor, a 5-megapixel rear and 1.3 Mp front camera and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The handset is expected to be unveiled at the FB’s press event. Evleaks first came up with a black handset which looks like a cheap knock-out of iPhone, later updated it 3 more colours: red, white and blue.
