Lenovo intros ‘Lephone’ at CES

Well, was someone feeling left out or what? Lenovo joined the smartphone manufacturing bandwagon with the announcement of the ‘Lephone’. I believe that it will make rounds in Asia at first and then head here. However, we cannot predict what’s going to be the gameplay of the Chinese notebook giants. It is said that the ‘Lephone’ will be something like a smartphone (Qualcomm processor and all) that will run Lenovo’s Skylight OS. They have been making news recently. The WCDMA Lephone will come with a 3.7 inch touchscreen, 3.5 mm headphone jack, a buttonless body, 3.0 megapixel camera, aGPS, Wi-fi, 3G and of course, a 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor.

With Lenovo joining in, it would be interesting to see a new powerplay that may be staged with Dell.
