lenovo-smartband-1Looks like there’s going to be plenty of choices for fitness buffs out there. With popular sport companies and tech giants already having a variety of smartbands to choose from, the latest one to join the bandwagon is Lenovo. The announcement of the smartband SW-B100 available in blue and orange colors has been done without any ostentation on Lenovo’s website. Looks wise and functionality wise, it is quite the same as any other fitness smartband. It can track your exercise patterns, number of steps, calories et al. A plus is that it comes with a heart rate monitor, which many other activity trackers usually don’t have. Another interesting feature is the sleep tracker which tracks how well you sleep! The tracker makes daily, weekly, and monthly graphs which will show your activity levels in the day and night. Of course it will be compatible with your smartphone or tablet, you can receive calls and texts as the name and the number of the caller is displayed on the screen.

One feature that makes Lenovo smartband SW-B100 stand out is its ability to unlock your Windows PC without the password. Other than windows, the Lenovo’s first smartband is compatible with Android 4.3 and above, and iOS 7.1 and above. The price and the date of release have not been revealed yet.
