Nomenclature has not been a problem for gizmo manufacturers, especially the ones hailing from Korea. Yet, we hear wind of something a little more absurdly named than before. Behold, the alleged curved display phone from LG, a. k. a. the Banana Phone! That’s some thought one would like to put into making things happen around the cellphone market, with Samsung revealing the Galaxy Round. It does look like a banana after all, simply in a strained effort to look different from the latter. Some call it the G Flex phone, a name that’s more favorable than anything else with fruity undertones. LG have mastered their all new flexible OLED technology but seem to have some problem with the naming. Or may be the blogger-brothers on our network are all bashed up about the shape and contours.


Having a flexible display does not mean that the phone will actually bend as it flexes. In fact, it will be a stable curve to be worked upon. So you may hold something curved on your ear, which is easy to use, but in idle state looks nothing but a smart banana.
