With the introduction of LN710, LG is trying out its luck in the arena of Navigation devices. Running on Windows Mobile CE.Net 5.0, the SiRF Star III-powered model features a 300MHz processor, 4-inch, 320 x 240 pixel display, 64MB RAM / 32MB ROM, and an SD slot for loading up maps from the included CDs. LG provides you with a choice of four models, the 256MB model with basic UK and Ireland map, the 512MB version providing a little more with major western roads, a 1GB for extra directions around major European countries including France and, to round off, a 2GB flagship which has maps for all of Western Europe.
No confirm word on pricing and availability yet but it should be around $ 450 – 500.
