LG Optimus 3D Max handset unveiled ahead of MWC

Just yesterday we saw LG unveiling its Optimus 3D Cube, the first in the smartphone industry with 3D video editing capabilities. The Korean giant, in its run up for MWC, has announced yet another Optimus beauty equipped with an interesting feature pack. Hailed as Optimus 3D Max, the Android device features a 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP4430 processor, a 4.3-inch 3D WVGA display that is protected by Corning’s second-generation Gorilla Glass, GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel duel-lens 3D rear camera, 3D video editing capabilities and NFC.

For now, the handset runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but LG has promised an ICS upgrade “shortly after the launch.” The device will first arrive in Korea this March and will eventually travel elsewhere starting with Europe.
