LG Korea has announced the XCanvas Bobos PDP TV’s (Plasma), two models will be offered initially the 42PQ60D (42″) and 50PQ60D (50″). The TV’s load two of LG’s proprietary XD picture engines which adjust the picture quality continuously for a better viewing experience. In addition to this LG has packed in a ‘mega contrast ratio’ which is an astonishing 1,000,000,000 :1 or One billion to 1. Apart from this it can play video files directly from a USB drive. The Boos are available in Korea for 1,400,000 ($ 1000) and 2,000,000 KRW ($ 1400).
