LG Korea has launched the KC1 handset which features WiBro connectivity. The phone is powered by Marvell Monahans CPU at 800 Mhz and runs on the dated Windows Mobile ver 5.0 OS. The KC1 sports a 2.8 inch touchscreen LCD, Bluetooth, SD card slot and T-DMB receiver for watching digital TV on the move. In case you are wondering what is WiBro – It is the Korean name for mobile Wi-Max although it has a much shorter range at 1.5 kms per base station with an aggregate data throughput of 30 to 50 Mbit/s.

The LG-KC1 will be available in Korea only for 700,000 KRW ($ 750).
