The Pentax 645D DSLR 40 megapixel camera was a swell and the makers had the oppurtunity to gloat when this monster camera bagged the the title of the “2011 Camera of the Year” at the Camera Grand Prix Japan. So Pentax thought of veiling their beauty in a luxury kit which looks snuggly more for jewelry than a gadget like this. There is the custom paulownia-wood box which will house the specially-designed camera, a leather strap, a body mount cap and centre-spot matter focusing screen. This is too much but we should applaud the makers to not stick Swarovski crystals on this one in the name of luxury. As of now, it is available for pre-order for a TBA price which strikes as pretty odd to me.
