The Macally IP-N111 speakers feature a circular dock which appears as a Frisbee and docks the nano in its center. The dock exposes the Nano’s click-wheel much like a case would, with tapered plastic running around its outer edge. All controls, including volume, are performed on the Nano itself, with the unit sporting an on/off switch as its only interface. The dock ensures to provide a dynamic sound system and can rock the dance floor with your favorite tunes. The speaker system is sleek with a futuristic design and comes in color option of black and white. The unit weighs just 3.3oz with a size of less than a compact disc and stands upright on its own at just over four inches wide and tall. So you can just carry the unit anywhere without worrying about the portability and power issues.

The IP-N111 only has an On/Off button; complete with a convenient blue light to let you know when the unit is on, with your nano controlling the rest. Its circular face might give you the illusion that the unit might just roll over, but you can stay rest assured as the unit is found to be stable. You just have to slap in three ‘AA’ batteries in to a backside compartment which also doubles as a stand and you can rock and dance for the next 20 hrs. So for $40 you won’t actually mind getting this trendy dock.
