Korea based ‘Robot institute’ has announced that its robot the Medibot is ready for production and will soon be available in the local market. The meter tall bot is designed to check the patients vitals and the Oxygen saturation (SPO2) and even make emergency calls to doctors and hospital support staff. The data collected by the Medibot can be sent to a processing center where the data of individual patients is analyzed. No pricing is available on the Medibot for now but it is matter of time before we see such mechanical helpers in hospitals worldwide.
