Microsoft bringing 3 Mango WP7 handsets to India starting with HTC Radar

Microsoft has finally unveiled their WP7 Mango handset in the India, a highly lucrative and crucial one which is already flooded with devices form other phone makers. The first handset to be available next week is HTC Radar whereas Samsung Omnia W and Acer Allegro are expected to follow suit in coming November. Needless to say that Windows phone has rather made a late entry here but it still hopes to win hearts owing to its few India-centric features like voice recognition options for a variety of Indian accents.

HTC radar will be available for a price of Rs. 24,000 and the Indian arm of Microsoft has suggested that they’d soon be unveiling handsets with modest price tags. The spec sheet here includes a 1 GHz processor, 3.7-inch LCD touchscreen, 5MP rear camera coupled with a front facing one for video conferencing, 512MB RAM and 8GB internal space. For now, the device is only available in white but probably HTC or accessory makers will bless us with more color options in future.
