Microsoft’s Zune has undergone a slight cosmetic facelift to suite the more flamboyant PMP user. The new HD has been recently announced in two new colors viz. purple and magenta. Microsoft seems quite serious about the device appealing to all users tastes and so they’ve added these two additional colors to the existing range of 5. The previous versions were available in platinum, black, green, red and blue, already a colorful range as it is. The new colors will be available only with the 16GB or 32GB Zune HDs however. Microsoft in all its generosity, this being the season for giving and all, is going to provide users with a one month free subscription to Zune Pass, which is otherwise priced at $15 per month for all new purchases. The price of the devices themselves remain unchanged – $220 for 16GB and $290 for 32GB.
