Well Microsoft is trying every trick in the book to get their hardware products off the ground. I guess they are inspired by the success of the Blu-ray drives by Sony and are aiming to repeat it with the launch two new mice. The two new mice are a revised wireless Microsoft Explorer Mouse and that Microsoft Explorer Mini Mouse which use a new tracking technology (What else) a blue beam instead of the red and wide-angle “specular optics architecture” to work on a wider range of surfaces than traditional optical or laser mice, including granite, marble, and even carpet. The new blue mice will be available from Best Buy in November for $99 and $79.
