Product Red is associated as a charity that works to fight AIDS in Africa. Many brands have adopted the initiative and have assigned special editions to the efforts. Joining the list is Microsoft with a Microsoft Vista Product Red edition. This version is not entirely new, but has been sold with several models of Dell PCs since early this year. Anyways, the Product Red Vista does include especially themed wallpaper and sidebar gadgets. Besides this Microsoft also helped Product Red launch RedWire, an online music venture. Bill Gates was already a member of this charity but now his team has also joined aboard.
