Mitsubishi latest MXW/MX series of LCD TV’s let you keep a track of how much power you are consuming in real time. The Eco-meter as Mitsubishi calls it shows the amount of power consumed and suggests different picture modes which will consume less power. One you activate the suggested power saving picture mode it will then show the power saved and the amount of Co2 which you prevented from being discharged in the environment. Coming to the specs the model will come in three variants 37″ (Full HD), 32″ and 26″ (both offer 1336 x 768 resolution). Standard features include digital TV tuner, Mitsubishi’s Diamond IV picture engine, EPG, Ethernet and SD card slot. The LCD’s will be released in Japan only later next month.
