The National Basketball Association announced today the official launch of NBA TV Broadband, a new advertiser-supported broadband video product providing visitors to NBA.com with free access to the most comprehensive and exclusive package of NBA video highlights throughout the 2005-06 NBA season. Through NBA TV Broadband, for the first time fans around the world will have access to in-game broadband highlights of every NBA game, TNT Overtime – a special online video channel showcasing TNT’s network of marquee basketball announcers, and NBA TV all-access and fantasy programming. Additionally, fans can also have the latest NBA video highlights delivered directly to their computer desktop through new Video RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds.

Along with Toyota as the presenting sponsor, Reebok, Nike, Converse, Sony PlayStation, Hannspree, Finish Line, 20th Century Fox Home Videos and many others will support NBA TV Broadband with video advertisements during the season.
The broadband video product, which will be closely integrated with NBA TV, the league’s 24-hour television network, will feature a large screen for viewing and a sidebar menu where fans can quickly search for video of NBA game highlights, the latest NBA features and more. Fans can also type in a search word to find specific NBA highlights of their favorite team or player.

NBA In-Game Highlights of Every NBA Game
Along with complete game highlights, NBA TV Broadband will provide fans with access to in-game video highlights of every NBA game throughout the season. Fans will be able to view game highlights following the first half, and can then view the complete game highlights after each game.
TNT Overtime
TNT joins NBA TV Broadband with access to exclusive TNT NBA interviews, reports and more. The unique broadband daily features will showcase the network’s marquee announcers, including the Inside the NBA studio team of Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, Magic Johnson and Ernie Johnson.
NBA TV Programming
Fans will be able to catch a variety of highlights from NBA TV programming, including NBA TV Daily, a daily recap of NBA games; NBA TV Insiders, a nightly talk show that looks at what’s happening around the league and NBA TV Fantasy Hoops, a nightly fantasy show that has become the ultimate guide for fantasy basketball players.
NBA Top Plays, Top Dunks
Each night NBA TV Broadband will highlight the top ten plays of the night from around the NBA along with the top play of the day and the best dunk.
NBA Press Conferences, Interviews and Behind the Scenes Coverage
NBA TV Broadband will provide access to interviews with NBA players, coaches and executives along with special behind-the-scenes coverage from NBA events including NBA All-Star, The Finals, NBA announcements and more.
