This was spotted at CES 2009, NEC’s curved monitor, the CRV43, which was originally named as Ostendo CRVD-42Dwx+. Yup! I will stick to the CRV43 instead. This screen (still figuring out the purpose of the curve) offers 4 DLP displays with a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, .02ms response time, 200cd/m2 brightness and a 2880 x 900 resolution.
The CRV43 will hit the shelves next month and you can get yourself one if you are the kind who is interested in curves. Oh! Wait, I think I forgot to mention, it will cost $7999. Yup, I know, curves come at a price!
