We are used to seeing some impressive rugged cameras, phones and PMPs but rarely have we been treated to PCs that have the toughness element in them. Japanese developers, NEC think otherwise, with the launch of the NEC ShieldPRO N22G. This rugged PC has already got a protection ranting of 65 when gauged on the International Protection scale to check for durability. It is effectively resistant to dust, water, vibration and impacts. The NEC ShieldPRO N22G will pack a 1.33GHz Intel Core i7 processor, 4GB RAM, 100/160GB storage, a 12.1-inch display screen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB.
