NEC’s new LaVie S range of laptops are locked and loaded for the ladies on the go

NEC is gearing up to unleash their LaVie S notebooks with reportedly come loaded with a Core i5 CPU option. The ‘S’ in the name stands for ‘Slim’ as the new upgraded series is just 35mm and weigh in at 2.4kg. Three models will be launched viz. the LS150, the LS350, and the LS550 which will be priced at 1,15,000 yen($1250), 1,31,500 yen ($1430) and 1,50,000 yen ($1,631)respectively. The LS550/AS6 comes equipped with Core i5-430M (2.26GHz, built-in video circuitry), HM55 Express Chipset, 4GB Memory, 500GB HDD, DVD writer, 15.6–inch LED backlight, low-reflection LCD. The LS350/AS6other will feature a Celeron P4500 processor (1.86GHz Core i3-350M (2.26GHz) and the LS150/AAS6 will come with a Core i3-350M (2.26GHz) processor 2GB memory capacity and both will feature 320GB hard drives.


These slim laptops are designed to appeal to the female of our species and will be available in colors options like Red Raspberry, Snow White and Black. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Ethernet, mini-pin D-Sub 15, DVD drive, HDMI and SDXC/Memory Stick PRO HG support ad of course it’ll come with a Windows 7 Home Premium edition OS.
