All you dieters out there now count your calories before you eat – only with your iPhone. iPhone has launched a new application, the Mealsnap, it lets you take a picture of the meal, while the app gives a calorie read-out almost instantly. The application comes with a database of some 500,000 food items, which it refers to and sends the user an alert with calories information, allowing user to choose the foods carefully. The database can instantly identity the food, how many calories there are, proteins, fat, carbs and vitamins.
The application is aailble to buy at the iTunes Store right now and costs about $2.99. So, here’s to healthy eating!
