In the technology world especially in this eastern sector and further in that direction, one can throw a stone and break the display’s of at least 5 iPhone clones. There have been developers trying a variety of fits to use the iPhone’s brilliant design and touch capabilities only with other operating systems. I don’t fancy a Windows Mobile iPhone but this latest one called the APhone A6 come with an Android OS which could have potential. With all the goodies that an iPhone comes with viz. Wi-Fi, multi-touch LCD display, 2 megapixel camera et al. the Android OS could add a lot of value to the handset’s operation. Of course the designers don’t want it to be just like an iPhone as they’ve also seemingly done away with single button option and installed a trackball for navigation.
Steve Jobs would have a laughing fit if anyone were to suggest actually making a production model of his beloved iPhone with an Android OS and these features but for the rest us, it’s a sign of hope. But one has to wonder that what the APhone actually is, is a clone of the HTC Hero that also incorporates all the features including a multi-touch display.
