Seems like the “High Definition” terminology the technology world has been so hooked onto these days could pretty much go poof! Behold the stone-paver of Ultra Definition video, the world’s first compact shoulder-mount Ultra Definition camera developed by NHK. Sporting a single-chip colour image sensor capable of producing 33 megapixel videos, the camera is portable as ever with its weight and size scaled down as compared to the previously developed prototypes. With a Bayer colour filter array with a single colour component per pixel, this camera shoots extremely high-quality videos and NHK is currently working on improving the camera’s picture quality and functionality.
