The lasts to come out of Nikon is their entry level D3100 DSLR. It’s packed with goodies that include a 3.0-inch LCD, full 1080p video recording support (@24FPS) and a 14.2 2 megapixel CMOS sensor. Some of the other features also include the new EXPEED 2 image processing engine for enhanced video and image capture, high ISO sensitivity (100-3200), an 11-point autofocus system, a very handy in-camera image and movie editing system as well as a dual integrated Dust Reduction System. The D3100 is priced at 499.999 Pounds in the UK which works out to about $782 (US). If you want the B3100 kit with 18-55mmVR it’ll cost you about $700 (US). Nikon never was cheap; then again their quality does speak for itself.
