It may be disheartening for a few shutterbugs to know that the Nikon D300 and D700 will be reaching a dead end on the production chain, or maybe they already have stopped being produced. The good news is that the devices will most probably be in for an improved, upgraded version. The Camera and Phone Imaging Show is drawing near and Nikon is most likely looking at it as the perfect platform to get some serious new releases to make up for the pair.

The D800 DSLR looks like the next big full-frame release. February 8th was the date we picked up. The D300 and D700 have been doomed for sure by being enlisted in the old devices catalog.
