We have occult sciences and horoscope readers to warn us about onset of misfortune. Nissan is trying a rather different approach to help you remain safe while driving. The automaker is working with Swiss scientists to develop an interface between man and machine that will read out the driver’s mind and predict his next move. The contraption here will be something similar to what the research team has already developed- the brain-machine interface systems which allow wheelchair users to maneuver their chairs by thought transference. They now need to find a way to incorporate this technology into the way motorists interact with their car.
If this becomes a reality, your car will be doing what you want it to do without your hands being on the steering wheel. The idea does look a bit far-fetched the moment but we hope this become a reality soon.
