Now here’s a really weird gift for father’s day, and I’m saying this even though I’m a fan of the Star Wars franchise. Hallmark has also decided to cash in on the famous movies by issuing a video card for Father’s day. According to sites the card features an embedded LCD screen that plays back a “humorous montage of clips featuring Star Wars characters in “father-like” moments from the original movie trilogy combined with a light-hearted message to dad.” Now that’s really funny because even though old Vader wasn’t the best father figure to choose from, he’s probably the most famous. If your dads a fan though he’ll definitely appreciate the artwork on the card as well as the sentiment behind the Darth Vader-Luke Skywalker father-son drama. This Star Wars Fathers Day card is scheduled for a May release.
