Cute little Fiat 500s zipping Italian alleyways might be a common sight but these pocket rockets jet skiing across a river might startle anybody. That’s exactly what happened when four Fiat 500s were seen cruising on the Chicago River last Monday as the by standers looked it amazement. It was actually a part of the set-up shooting for a Fiat commercial. The car boats were shells of Fiat 500L, 500 Cabrio and 500 Abarth built on high-powered watercrafts. These very cars were earlier used to entertain thousands of surf fans during the 2013 Vans U.S. Open of Surfing competition in Huntington Beach, California earlier this year.

After entertaining the crowd gathered around the Chicago River, the crew made its way to Michigan Lake. In case the downtown traffic has been bugging you, you might want to use one of these and reach your destination in style while making a few heads turn!
