Car manufacturer GM Motors has announced the launch of a mobile phone application that will allow you to remotely manage your car. The OnStar app boasts electronic control and monitoring tools, so you can do everything from starting your car to tooting the horn, turning the lights on, checking the oil and fuel levels, plus some. The OnStar app is also tailored to suit the model of car. So, a Buick OnStar will be different to that of a GMC truck. Each app also has a unique PIN, so only he (or she) with the code has the power over the motor. Sounds like every car-lover’s dream, doesn’t it? OnStar also offers a 24-7 customer service center, accessible with a one-touch dial.
