It must have taken the guys at Akihabara some effort to land their sacks in France but it’s for all of us that they undertook this tedious journey. It was to enjoy the Panasonic Lumix G3 firsthand. What comes in first is that Panasonic have maintained the fine compactness of the regular Lumix cameras in the G3 as well. It’s a smaller version of the G2, in fact, it’s 25% smaller in comparison. Other notable features that were evident were the fast GH2 AF, 20fps burst mode at 4-megapixel, “Touch to Focus”, 1080/50i Full HD video recording and a lot more.
The North American version of the camera is said to include 1080/60i video recording. We’re still waiting for it to sail to the US of A.
