The display weighs only 1.18 kilos and has a large 10.4 inch XGA LCD. The thin wireless client has no Hard Drive and connects wirelessly to clinical and management applications which reside on the local server. It works with Citrix Metaframe, Windows Server OSes, or Web servers. The unit is rugged and sealed to military specifications. For additional security there is the optional fingerprint scanner. The Toughbook Wireless Display has a 4-10 hour battery life and has a 300 feet WLAN range.
