Panasonic Japan has announced three new models to its PZR900 lineup of flagship Plasma televisions. To be made available in three sizes 42, 46 and 50 inches these babies pack in a full HD (1920 x 1080) panel, Digital TV tuner and a whopping 1 Terabyte hard drive which will put even the latest DVR to shame. The Terabyte hard drive is good for upto 121 hours of video recording depending on the quality you set. As it is Japan everything has to get online and so does this, it uses a service called ‘TV Net’ via which you can watch Youtube videos along with other Japanese content online. Other features include Panasonic’s Viera link, HDMI inputs, and Card reader. An interesting feature is that it can be used with compatible Viera link doorphones and surveillance cameras so you can know who rang the doorbell when watching Prison break.
The three models are available in Japan with the 42 inch selling for 420,000 Yen ($ 4200), 46 inch for 480,000 Yen ($ 4800) and 50 inch for 540,000 Yen ($ 5400).
