The Pentax K-5 DSLR has spent a substantial amount of time amongst humanity and has pretty much set a benchmark by itself. While a silver version of the DSLR showed up roughly a year ago with an accompanying price tag of $1,700 for just a unique body, Pentax decided to go all out on its new limited edition kit this time and will offer the unique silver bodied K-5 along with a bundled lens for just $1,600. With just 1,500 units of its kind to hit store shelves around the globe, this DSLR comes with a Mark Newson-designed smc PENTAX-DA lens sporting a 40mm fixed focal length and f/2.8 aperture, claimed to be the world’s thinnest unifocal lens. However, if you’re looking to flash a Limited Edition insignia amongst your shutterbug buddies, your bound to be left sourly disappointed.
