Rappers and their love for gold and everything bling bling is well known, but when the whole world is crazy over the gold mania, why should DJs be away from it? Pioneer, after successfully introducing a black and then white version of its popular digital controller “DDJ-SX”, has now launched a glittery version in gold. The gold DDJ-SX will be made in limited numbers and has gone on sale starting today at Guitar Center retail stores, guitarcenter.com and musiciansfriend.com.


The Pioneer’s Gold DDJ-SX controller, which is more of a collectors’ item, has all the features from the original version, utilizing Serato® DJ software as the basis for its control layout and ergonomic design, taking advantage of the software’s features and integrating special performance pads and controls. The jog wheels on this model are also larger for precise mixing and scratching, multiple inputs for expandability, and 4-channel mixing flexibility. The limited edition gold controller is available for the price of $1,199, which is almost same as the original version.
